Shirom is a family-run boutique winery established in 2003. Liav Leshem, its vintner and owner, is continuing the agricultural legacy left by his grandfather, Martin Fefferman, who built the family farm when he immigrated from Germany in 1935. Leshem has contributed to the growth in the production of Shirom's wines, improving its quality every year. Merlot and Shiraz grapes are cultivated In the vineyards near the winery, and Shirom's natural processing of the grapes preserves their flavours and bouquet.
